Rekker pulled into the beach parking lot and reached over to take Bjorn's hand. "Come out and talk to me, luv."
He's gentle but he needs to talk to Bjorn since the back is a mess right now. Mikkel was having a meltdown and Rekker felt for boy. He knew part of what might be going on because he use to have meltdowns all the time too.
Mikkel pulled back and scowled at Sigurd but he didn't say anything. As soon as the car was stopped he got out wanting to get away from everyone. He felt scared now. Scared he'd ruined everything, scared that he wasn't supposed to make friends, most of the reaction, even the slap was his adrenaline response. Unable to get away in a moving car he lashed out and didn't exactly mean to.
