The Brit sighed heavily and stroked Bjorn's sides and back, glad that he's relaxing. "The attitude and the mouth comes with spending your life fighting. I know he used to get in the way when Rik's father was beating him, since he was just little, he used to try and fight off a grown man. He's been fighting a long time. It takes just as long to learn you don't have to fight to stay alive constantly. I know, I used to fly off like that all the time too."
Rekker glanced around and figured Mikkel wasn't going to stop walking until someone caught him or he exhausted himself, at least that was what Rekker used to do and he didn't imagine the Dane was much different.
